ADAPTER TIP TO GRIP LENGTH (IMPORTANT: THIS IS NOT FINAL CLUB LENGTH)

  • How to select the “ADAPTER TIP to GRIP Length”: This is determined by unscrewing the end cap, removing the club head, and measuring from the bottom of the adapter tip to the end of the grip - for more info: see how to measure "Adapter Tip to Grip" length.

** All measurements are specified in inches. If you have any questions on how to choose length, please contact us before ordering.

Shafts Make A Huge Difference

A lot of golfers don’t realize it, but anybody reading this review knows that the shaft is much more important than the head of a golf driver. Sure, the head is where you’ll find the heat, and the forgiveness - but if you have the wrong shaft, no matter how forgiving or hot that head is, you won’t come close to reaping any benefits from that head technology.

For me the Cypher has become my gamer. I always go for 5.5 flex in the Project X clubs (like the HZRDUS), and they play like a “stiff regular”. I wanted to try to fit myself into an ultra lightweight shaft for a Callaway Smoke Triple Diamond head after hitting a friends lightweight TM Qi. I also wanted more of a regular flex feel instead of stiff regular, so I ordered the Cypher in a 5.0 flex.

This club is light, but very stable, even in the 5.0. This shaft is doing all of the work for me. The dispersion is nice, but not as tight as the Mitsubishi Vanquish, which I think is a good comparison to the Cypher 2.0. I also have the Vanquish, and it’s light and tight in terms of stability, but the Cypher 2.0 is just hard to replace. I don’t want to start tinkering because it’s working, but I honestly feel both of those shafts are great feeling shafts to be so lightweight. Anyway, Grips4Less has really been a great resource for me - my go to.
