Cord Grips: Get the LOW DOWN

Carol Yeh |

Cord golf grips have a higher surface traction and can provide a firmer feel. They are also great for all-weather play. Get the 411 on these bad boys, and find the right one for your game!
The Lamkin Crossline Full-Cord is a medium firm cord grip with a dense high traction surface texture for non-slip performance. This grip gives you a classic cord look and feel, and is the only cord grip available in 3 different sizes: StandardMidsize, and Oversize.
The popular Golf Pride Tour Velvet BCT Cord is a firm cord grip featuring a brushed “tight-weave” cotton twill fiber for comfort, traction, and instant feedback. Also available in a (soon-to-be-discontinued) White color.
The Golf Pride Z-Grip Cord is a super firm cord grip featuring a deep “Z-shaped” texture pattern for traction and control. The unique diagonal pattern helps channel moisture away from your hands for super dry contact.
Technically not a cord grip, the IOMC X-Evolution grip still runs with the pack nicely. You'll get cord-like traction with its deep x-pattern texture along with a tacky, medium firm feel. IOMIC grips boast low torque performance for minimal dispersion. Available in lots of pretty colors.
Another cord-like grip, the PURE Grips DTX series is a 100% seamless rubber grip made in the USA. Designed with a rough-feeling texture, this grip is ideal for players that like the performance of a cord grip but want something tackier and more stable during their swing. Available in every color under the sun.
